Malpas - handstitched applique
Martinshaw Wood - machine embroidery
Sirmione - handstitched applique
Since graduating from DeMontfort University with a First Class degree in 1996 in Surface Decoration I have been working as a textile artist.
My inspiration comes from the Leicestershire landscape and seaside holidays in Cornwall. I work in both free motion machine stitch and hand stitched applique to create pictures with a ‘painted’ look. I have licensed images for use on homewares for several years and in 2014 had a design selected for use on products in the King Richard III Visitor Centre in Leicester.
