Jill Hailes won the Creative Leicestershire Prize with her painting, White Orchid, at the Rutland Open Exhibition.
The exhibition took place at Rutland County County Museum in Oakham, from 12 March to 22 April 2016. of artwork by artists based in Rutland and the surrounding counties including painting, sculpture, printmaking, drawing, photography, ceramic, glass, textiles and jewellery from Rutland, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.
Other LSA artists who contributed to the exhibition included Philip Dawson, and Alan Oliver who won the Goldmark Prize.
